After belaboring for the last year writing my first book, I learned so very much that I feel compelled to help others write their God stories too.

Through my trial, error, and learning season, God birthed a Spirit-led book writing method that I call The God Story Method.

Every Christian has a God Story to share, testimonies that will bring God glory and help others through their trials. Most just do not know where to start or how to go through the process. And finding people who do it God's way is a whole other layer.

Most believe you need a big publisher or $20K or more to pay a company to help you write your book. I know, because I did that.

In 2016 I paid a well-known company $20,000 to help me write my first book. I met with their "scribes" who would listen to and record my stories and then write them out and send them back to me for approval. The problem was, they never sounded like me. They could never figure out my unique voice.

After going through multiple scribes, the owner of the company said, "Tracie, come to Austin to my next writer's workshop. I feel you need to write your own book." I did as he suggested and met one of my dearest "published author friends." But still, I did not write my first book.

Over the years I attended writer's retreats and online seminars on writing your first or next book. But still no book.

Until I received a word from The Lord.

He spoke. I listened.

I then submitted to His Lordship. I surrendered my way of thinking it should or had to be done the way all the other people on social media were doing it.

I asked God to use me to write the words He wanted written. I prayed for discernment to know what to put in the book and what to leave out.

I woke daily with great expectation of what God was going to download to me. I made the decision to open my heart and my mind to receive all He had for me and for those who He will cause to read my book.

I rested. I trusted Him in the process. I obeyed. I moved forward in peace and strength from Him.

God birthed my first book through me. Five more are coming. He can birth yours through you too.
